Kyle Lowry To Miami... Was it worth the trade for Raptors?

Kyle Lowry Sign and Traded to the Miami Heat for a 3-year deal of $87.5 million dollars, in exchange for Goran Dragic and Precious Achiuwa.

Kyle Lowry is many Raptors fans favorite point guard, predominantly because he had such a high impact on the Raptors franchise for nearly a decade. His playmaking, leadership, shooting, and work ethic is divine, and is commonly considered a treasured piece to the Toronto Raptors previous dynasty with DeMar DeRozan.

Kyle Lowry's career is nearly over at 35 years old, but I am personally happy for him and for Miami Heat to start afresh, join and form a "new big three" with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

Kyle Lowry To Miami... Was it worth the trade for Raptors?

Here is each players 2021 statistics:

Kyle Lowry: 17.2 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 7.3 APG, 43.5 FG%, 40 FG3%, 87.5 FT%

Summary of Kyle Lowrys 2021 Statistics: A good scorer and amazing playmaker based on the PPG and APG, with great field goal percentage and great field goal percentage from 3. Rebounding is exceptionally well for a 6'0 point guard, and Free Throw percentage is decent. Playing nearly 35 minutes per game, and is 35 and 6'0, these statistics are great.

Goran Dragic: 13.4 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 4.4 APG, 43.2 FG%, 37.3 FG3%, 82.8 FT%

Summary of  Goran Dragic 2021 Statistics: Decent scorer based on the PPG, APG could be higher because Goran Dragic is a point guard/ shooting guard. Good rebounder based on the RPG for a 6'3 guard. Great field goal percentage, but 3 point percentage could be higher because Goran Dragic is primarily a shooter. Free throw percentage is decent, but could be better. Playing nearly 27 minutes per game, I expected a bit more from PPG, and APG.

Precious Achiuwa: 5.0 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 0.5 APG, 51 FT%, 55 FG%

Summary of  Precious Achiuwa 2021 Statistics: For a young rookie that played about 12 minutes per game, the PPG is exceptionally well, but the rebounding can be better as a 6'8 Power Forward. 55 FG% is a great field goal percentage, but free throw percentage could be a bit better as a PF/ center.

Overall, it is a good trade for the Raptors, as long as Precious Achiuwa develops his game and Goran Dragic shows that he is a good 3 point shooter in Toronto. Goran Dragic can be a good second or third option for 3 point shooting, and can help Toronto Raptors with running the offense for the next few years. Precious Achiuwa showed this season that he has some potential when it comes to scoring and rebounding, and could potentially be a reliable center for the Toronto Raptors. After all, Precious is very young, only 21 years old.

Even if both players dont develop well with Toronto Raptors, it is not a total loss because we already have Fred, Gary, Scottie Barnes, Flynn, Pascal, and OG to carry this team.  Additionally, Kyle Lowry's Value was decreasing because he was getting older, so it is good that we traded him.
